after all the upgrades I still get 15 lbs boost. on a cold morning I will see about 18 to 209 MAX! I don't have any boost leaks.
I have all the stuff on it except injectors and larger turbo.
3'' to 5'' Exhaust
Large Rifraf intake,
Tc6 chip
intercooled.
Rifraff billet wheel.


4.10 gears on 31" tires.
What gives?

 

That's what I see.

I hit 20 psi pulling about 15k up a decent grade in 3rd and 3000rpm

All stock everything, 6.0 IC, efuel, Donaldson blue, Hydra canned tunes, 3.55, 35" tires.

 

I can't remember but have you already replaced up pipe donut gaskets or not yet that could be a contributing factor big time depending on there condition

Actually, that sounds better than a stock truck. But then again, it's not a stock truck....

 

I dont have any leaks in the up pipes. I do have one started in the manifold but the boost have not changed since before the leak. Well then I'm going to start calling BS on claims of 30 lbs on stock units with a down pipe chip and air cleaner.......

 

I made 20 with similar. Efuel and t 500 got injectors working to potential and could get 29-30. If hpop is weak and not keeping stix stroking to potential and stock fuel sucks....there u go.

 

I have efuel, an exhaust, and a cai and with a 60hp tune I've seen 28psi. A stock tune I'll see 22psi. Stock injectors, no ic, stock turbo

 

I see 20 PSI boost @ 3000 RPM on a hill loaded or unloaded

 

Well I'm just going to rebuild the system. I have new parts all over waiting to go in. May as well get the 38 turbo, stage 1 sticks and a new Hpop. While I am at it buy a new rebuilt engine too.

 

I just did 6637 filter, 3" to 4" exhaust, deleted ebpv along with a ts chip and see 24-25lbs boost. Was pretty surprised, was 16 lbs bone stock.
