max boost
how can i get the max boost out of my truck thanks to a guy on here i found the problem of low boost now i want to get the max boost out of my truck I heard the blow off valve that you can put in front of the map sensor will act as a boost fooler but im not sure it will work

The only way you're going to get big boost numbers is an upgrade of injectors and a chip. If you want just to max out what you have, as long as you don't have any boost leaks, not a lot more you can do...
gutting the ebpv may help a little as well as better intake, downpipe. Stock truck will be around 15psi, give or take a little.

And FYI, the boost foolers won't do much good on your truck unless you are getting a "Overboost" code, which won't come up till somewhere over 30psi.
You probably have a worn turbo, weak injectors, or a boost leak somewhere causing low boost.

what are your boost readings? 20 lbs is the usually the most youll get out of a stock truck, my friends pushing 23lbs with a diablo chip(not volentarily, long story LOL) but his turbo is rediculously tight.
idealy with these turbos you want at most around 25lbs, they run out of efficency arond 25lbs anyway, you can overspool them and get all the boost in the world but wont necesarily mean power. Assuming your still stock aplication you can see 16lbs ish bone stock.

you could wrap the turbo and up-pipes with exhaust insulation. this would hold in more heat. most effective if there are no leaks from your up-pipes

I have the banks stinger kit and I found that the map sensor isn't working right I unplugged it and it made a huge difference and way more responsive
