max boost

How much boost can you run without damaging the truck. Is there such a thing as too much boost. And what all can be done to increase boost psi and build boost quicker. I can hit about 18-19 psi with my stock turbo but I really have to dog it(2600-2700 rpms at over 75mph) I ordered a 6 position chip, which should be here next week. I also bought a 7.3 intercooler and plan to buy a 1.0 exhaust housing and intall them at the same time.

everything you listed is gonna do it. you will probably hit 30 or more. but ive heard 25 and 30 to be the max point you wanna take it.
i can hit 26 psi in mine in 3rd gear. (5speed)
chip/intake/no cat/down pipe

there is such a thing as too much boost. its about 30psi with our turbos. headgaskets can handle about 40ish. if you have stock injectors you dont have enough fuel to to make too much boost. with the ic you will drop a couple psi because of lower intake temps and more volume on compressed side of turbo. with the 1.0ar it will lower your rpm boost peak to about 2300rpm right around there.

The turbo is rated to handle 25 PSI, but can generally do a little more than that for a while. Like Jake said, the headgaskets will take around 40 PSI, but you are not going to do that with stock injectors.

Thanks, I've got another question. Which would be more beneficial 1.0 or .84 AR housing

The .84 is too small for a stock truck IMO. I think you're better off with the 1.15 you have now... I definitely would not go smaller than the 1.0
