too much boost
I got a 95 7.3 powerstroke and i had an intake exhaust and ts performance chip then recently i put stage 1 injectors in it and now i can push a lot more boost and easily get over 30 psi. is there a waste gate or something i can put on the turbo to keep the boost under 30 psi?

These engines thrive on boost, why limit it 
as long as you dont stay above 32psi for long periods of time(towing on steep grades) you will be find and thats with a stock turbo, aftermarket is a whole different can of worms.

I've hit 35psi and my transmission was slipping and now i'm putting a stage 1 trans in it and i don't have money for an other turbo so i'm wanting to save it so I thought it might be a good idea to do something to keep myself from pushing it to the max.

Then I would recommend getting your tuner to dial down your tunes. Or at least a couple of them anyway

I ran a stock turbo up to 40psi just about everytime I drove my truck for 10k miles and it finally popped. That and the passenger head started weeping from the headgasket.

Headstuds after.
I have roughly 5 driveable trucks, so it wasn't a big deal to see how long I could make it before it went south. It's under the knife right now getting new bottom end bearings and main studs, head studs, HPOP, Irate S369, Irate fuel system and the heads inspected.

I have a rebuilt stage one transmission in it now but so the transmission is not a problem any more and my boost still goes up fast but only on the last two settings on the tuner. I'm just keep my eye on it when i have it on those settings.

? Your saying you don't want more boost? Or are you confusing boost with egt? Im at lost when you say you dont want more boost. Custom tuning will help, or leave the setting on stock. Who did the tunes?
