Don't remember the part number but you can find it here. It a two cavity connector. If I find the ones that I cut off the mirrors, I'll post a pic. Either way you'll still have to make the harness that connects the mirror to the 22 pin connector.
BTW - REALLY, REALLY love the BLIS when towing, and the cross traffic alert is very handy in parking lots.
Here's my order from ford-parts.com, note I'm shopping as "Autonation Ford of White Bear Lake" because they gave great discounts on parts, you can do the same and get the same prices. Also your need two of the screw sets, my order only shows one and I had to order a second set.
$847 ford-parts.com (used this VIN for the order 1FT8W3BT5HEC74903) as it is the same as my truck but with the factory BLIS option.
Minus $100 Core (went to junk yard and bought two broken tail lights from an older super duty for $5 each to use as the cores).
Minus $175 for selling my original tail taillight on ebay
Total costs to add BLIS $572, about the same if ordered from the factory.
Ok, so do you have Halogen headlights/tail lights? The only reason I added the BLIS was because I did a halogen to LED upgrade and the LED's came standard with the BLIS radar. Halogen tail lamps come with either BLIS or no BLIS. I have a Lariat Value trim and it originally came with halogen non BLIS tail lamps. When I upgraded to the LED's I had to order and replace the rear wiring harness to support the rear LED's. If your planning on keeping the halogens then you should be fine. One quick way to see if you have all the wires needed will be to remove the black mirror trim piece on the inside of the door to expose the connector from the door to the tow mirror. If you have the 22 pin connector and wires in pin 13 & 20 you will be good to go. It will just be a matter of swapping the top mirror glass out on each mirror so you have the orange dot indicator and a using Forscan to code a few modules in order to get it to operate. You will have to run 2 wires inside your tow mirrors to get power to the led indicator. I took my truck to my local car stereo shop and they ran
the wires for me. It's a lot more economical than replacing each mirror that already has the wires. (about $750 ea. vs. $80 at the car stereo place). The top glass itself with BLIS will run about $75 ea. There is another forum user who can help you with giving you those values to change if you are familiar with using Forscan? I will be more than happy to assist as I just finished this project 2 weeks ago and it works as it should with no problems. I will try to send some photos when I get a chance for install.
I'm in the middle of this install now. I have everything done with the exception of running the 2 new wires. Are the wires running from the inside of the door to the mirror only or does the wiring have to run to the inside of the cab?
Hi all, I'm currently adding Bliss to my 2017 Superduty, I have 2 questions. First when running the wires through the mirror do they connect right to the existing harness at the mirror or do they have to run into the cab? Second could someone please give me the changes needed in Forscan? Much appreciated
Please read the entire thread, I show exactly where to connect the the wires in the existing harness in the mirror, even have a picture attached. I connected to the mirror harness as I thought is was more like the factory option, can be done on the other side of the connector, also shown in this thread.
Thanks... I read through and also looked at the pictures but it didn't really state of it had to run inside the cab of the truck. I figured it out. Just waiting on the changes for forscan

Glad you figured it out. The picture attached is of the connector on the mirror, so you don't have to run inside the cab, just to the connector of the mirror wiring harness.
I am not sure if anyone is still monitoring this post. It took me a bit to find it. However, with blis, towing, incandescent is part number HC3Z-13A409-G for 2018 the PN starts with a J.
I commend all of you on your efforts- great work on this thread. I'm still deliberating whether or not to pull the trigger on this project. I've been over this post numerous times as I'm more a mechanical guy vs electrical. Correct me if I'm wrong, it seems that most of you whom performed this conversion are running halogens taillights. If one were to go the LED route what are the primary differences?
