No windshield, hiking up to Cloud Peak July 5th (13,170 ft. 24 miles RT)
Climbed that a few years ago. Longest climb I'd ever done. That was the last time I trusted someone else to know the route. We backpacked to Mistymoon Lake day 1 and climbed Cloud Peak day 2.
My brother-in-law is planning to hike that in September. I'm not sure if I'm going to join the crew or not. I don't mind the climb up but my knees hate the return trip down.
Interesting picture of a near miss. I met the cement truck on a narrow, two lane and evidently he’s new and doesn’t realize how wide his truck is. I dropped the right side tires off the shoulder and missed him, but I definitely flinched as we passed. If I had been in my older SUV, I would have snugged the seat belt and sold it to him.
