Was stationed in southern Georgia at one time and spent some time up in Ellijay at Bill Rogers's shooting school. Pretty country up there.

This actually gives me an idea for another thread like "Where am I?".

That's the beauty of AZ - the pics are in the eastern central part of the state, beautiful mountain range there that sees snow by late Oct-Early Nov every year. Tucson is south of there by a couple hundred miles, on the desert floor. Still no snow yet for Tucson, but the mountains surrounding it have had. You can drive two hours in AZ and be in nearly any climate zone you desire. I love this state! LOL!!

Looks like the top portion of a wind turbine (nacelle), look to the far left of the cars and can see a hub for the blades to attach to.

Most are head here right now.......NW AZ, just south of Hoover Dam. They have been installing a crap load of them!

They must be worried about sucking Lake Mead dry and having to turn all the lights off in Vegas (Boohoo).
All these, and more, have been installed in the last year.
