well put pump on. no luck. found out oil is over full. full of fuel so id say making oil thin. checked injector o rings. no luck. so started swaping injectors and turning pump on in between each injector. still drips out of drain plug. so im guessing a crack somewhere. head stays dry whole time. any ideas would be great. next step im gonna air test each head. this thing driving me crazy

While you have your valve covers and oil rail off run your fuel pump and look at the top of the injector cup area and see which is leaking fuel. I drained 36 quarts from my pan and found a few injectors leaking at the top of the cup area. I could see the fuel. The internal o-rings were bad. I replaced them and all was good after.

I've been watching this thread and I wasn't going to say what I was going to say. Now that you spent a bunch of money on a HPOP, let's step back and be a technician instead of a parts replace. So far you know it's making oil, so you have a leaking injector seal. You also know it has a HPO leak, it needs a air test. Let's find the diesel fuel leak. Most likely your going to find the HPO leak too
