I’m curious in your rake: do you not have either the camper package or heavy front suspension? What is the difference in your wheel well height?

There’s no comparison between you and and buddies truck. You have that nice aggressive stance by comparison.

Im still fine tuning the coil overs with several turns out on the preload and have just barley got it to sit level. I may have to go with a dual coil set up from king to get the stance I want without topping out the preload.

Exact measurements will be coming soon.

BTW. I did have the camper package originally with the rear sway bar but all that is off the table now. This is a complete suspension set up with all new components. Nothing left is stock.

Great truck! Could you tell how much higher your bed rails are compared to stock?

Guys running 37s on 17s

Hey y’all! I have put about 20k miles on my 2017 SD since I put the 2.5 pintop on it. Admittedly I wanted 37s to begin with but I wanted to hear how other guys were doing with 37s on 17s so I went with 35x12 toyo MTs and per usual I’ve pretty much killed them in 20k driving ike an adolescent and towing heavy regularly. I’ve been running them way up when towing and dropping them down to 45ish when unloaded. So my question is:

Who is running 37s on 17s with eom radius arms?

Are they 12.50 or 13.50?

What pressures are you running?

Do the 12.50 guys need a minimum of 50ish psi to maintain sidewall integrity?

How much trimming was necessary?

Im cool with lost mpg but so y’all notice the power is down?

Hey guys thanks for any and all answers and advice!!

I then deflated the bags so you can see the relationship between the bags and the Daystar cups. I pushed the bags up with the screwdriver so you can see clearly.
When deflated the bags sit fully down in the cups and make 'kissing' contact only, no support...

Some of my On Board Air components have been patiently awaiting me on the work bench. I had a bad get-off on my dirt bike last December and am just now getting back to being able to work under the truck looking up. This will be my next project.

Hope the pictures help. Best of luck in setting up your rig.

NEW TO THE FORUM AND VERY GLAD I found this post! I was at my wit's end with a way to add air bags to my Carli 2.5 Pintop until I found this. Just installed the Ride rite's and Air Lift Wireless air with the Daystar cradles yesterday and so far, so good. I'm wondering what pressures you have found allow the air bag to just "kiss" the cradle as you described? For me (2019 F-250 CC 4x4 6.7L) it appears to be about 30-35 psi.

I did the Carli Commuter w fox 2.0 track bar, etc on my 2019 F-350 CCLB. Installed by Industrial Motoring in Anaheim CA out the door for $2,100 full alignment and lifetime warranty on parts an labor. They even said after my 1,000 mile re torque that stop in any time and we will safety recheck no charge.

love the ride even on stock 20” Michelin’s and now running Toyo Open Country 295’s. Didn’t want to go any bigger lift and don’t do serious off road. Been off trail many times hunting, camping etc. no complaints.

I am running the Dexter springs which will make a difference if you are on stock springs.
On the Dexters I run 5 psi with an empty bed. With 3,000 lbs on the pin with the 5th wheel I run 75 to 85 lbs depending on the terrain.

I have never had an issue with the Daystars at 5 psi on pavement.
Off road with a relatively empty bed I run 25 to 30 psi, again never an issue with the Daystars.

I am 100% happy with my setup both on road empty and towing. Off road it's simply amazing.
My wife no longer wants to ride in her Lexus as the truck is so much more comfortable.

Good luck

f350ktm, thanks for chiming in. I've got the exact spring ID sticker in your photo, so likely identical setup. Since yesterday I've run the bags at about 35 psi, but on pavement only tomorrow I'm going to try the 5 psi setting, which has the bottom of the bags a good inch or more above the Daystar cradles. Have you noticed any wear on the lower/outer portion of the air bag bellow chamber due to compression against the outer edge of the Daystars? I'm not too concerned about this because the Daystars do really seem to "cradle" the entire bag, but was curious.

So at 5psi on my truck the bags are down in the cradles but not touching the bottom of the cradles.
My truck does have a spray in bed liner and a small toolbox in the front of the bed but not much weight there.
This may be enough weight however to set my bags a bit lower in the cradles.

I also have a Transfer Flow 60 gallon tank but it is mounted to the frame and sits fairly far forward. I imagine it may also pull my box down somewhat.

Regardless my bags have no sign of rub wear.

By the way, I assume you saw the spacer under my Daystars

Thanks! I just looked again, I do have the spacer and the bottom of the bag is about 1/2-3/4" from the cradle "seat" at 5psi, not quite as high as I stated earlier. The alignment of the bags is not perfect, but they sit down into the cradle pretty well when inflated.

2017+ add a packs

I’m in Montana and have a set of add a packs that have never been used just opened the box. Thought I’d see if anyone on here might want them

@f350ktm Is that a special mount you got for your reservoirs on the rear shocks? Mine have the hose, or am I missing something? Hoping to install this weekend
