I was going over that train bridge between Cawker City and Downs, and my classmate passed me in a lifted older F150 (I didn't know it was my classmate at the time) . A bunch of dried mud fell from the underside of the truck and hit my car, and I was immediately I was irritated with him for the huge mud clumps hitting my car thinking of the dents and scratches, until I saw the entire front of his truck crushed in by a deer. He probably saved my life that day, for as much damage as it did to his lifted truck, it probably would have gone right through the window of my car.
Poor Mom, her friends are dropping like flies. She had another dear friend pass away in the last couple of days, but can't attend the funeral. One of my classmate's father's passed away, but the funeral will have to be possibly month's from now, because they didn't want to turn anyone away. Another friend, my age had a younger brother pass away, and they still don't know why, but they were not allowed to have a funeral in their state at this time, so I imagine the closure for the family is going to be difficult.
The normal passage of time and life and death won't stop for this virus. The big change is in the near term how we celebrate these occasions will be different. At some point we will be able to go back to a more normal ritual for these. It has to be hard for young kids graduating from HS and other things they look forward to and won't be able to experience in the same way. Right Curtis.
I clorox wipe them down-- I was given gloves-- BUT they don't work with a touch screen (Yeah) -- so basically I am just waiting to catch it and die :-)
