Going to happen to each of us. No way to get out of that. Yesterday is gone and no way to change it. Tomorrow is not guaranteed to any of us. All we have is today. So all we can do is make the best of what we do to make that best of what we do today. As my friend Larry says, " One day at at a time".
Depends on how long I had. If It was a few months, or weeks, I would quit my job, and go visit friends and family, and travel to see parts of the world. If it was 64 years from now, I would keep on, keeping on, unless I couldn't be killed despite what circumstances I put myself through, and had to live another 64 years, then I would quit my job, cliff dive, ask to be part of a space mission, cave dive, cave explore, climb Mt Everest, etc..
Thing is none of us know or will know. You just get up in the morning (hopefully) and do the best you can. There was a saying or a little statement written long ago that for each life a death is owed. And another about accepting the things you cannot change. So even if you have an illness and are given a few years or even a few months you still don't know the exact time and you just keep getting up and doing the best you can. And lots of folks live much longer than they had a reason to believe and others have died way shorter. So you just get up and do the best you can to visit folks or go places or what ever. That is what life is to me. Just do the best I can do today. What ever I need to do today and what ever I can afford financially today and what ever I can do physically today and what every I have time for today. I can plan things for the future but I know when wake up time comes around tomorrow I could be dead. Heart attack, stroke, any number of accidents and that is it. Game over and done. This is something you have no control over and you cannot change. You can prepare a bit for death as I have as I know that is going to happen to all of us. And we really have no idea when. So no use spending time thing about something that will never happen.
SO my friend in Joplin was on dialysis- due to kidey loss-- due to diabetes- caught Covid- Passed last night--- I'm Not a happy camper today-- he will be missed
I guess there comes a point in your life when you gain less friends and start losing them to illness and death-- Poopy that i reached that point I guess.
Well I guess I almost died-- didn't know it-- and argued with my wife about it- went to doc then waass in the hospital and emergency room for a couple days. Makes ya think about death
I nearly choked to death on my own spit a few seconds ago, seeing my life flash before my eyes.. Not really, just hoping people don't start thinking I have Covid..
Trying to get some things in order- past history and what not just in case--- Wonder if I should write a book? Not exactly about my life but I have a whole ton of stories about myself and other people I have been around when funny things happen (the navy seal story- the bear poop story - ect ect ) Wonder if writing a book would be interesting to any7one else?
