Ok. Here's the deal, someone I know is parting out a 2000 E450 box van with 220k miles on it. He says many parts were changed on it but it still wouldnt run. Those parts are injectors, both heads, and hpop. Hpop was a reman and maybe the injectors are too. I offered 400 for engine and tranny and he says I can have it so long as I pull it. I have 411k on my original injectors. Should i put these injectors in my truck? Or is it not worth the hassle?
I wouldn't buy a non running engine for parts for my running but tired engine. I would however buy it to rebuild it from the ground up, and swap it into my truck when it's done and perfect. I would probably use all those parts as cores unless I can verify they're good. If I could find a complete 99.5 up engine for $400, I'd take it.
Thats true...i was going to take the solenoids off and check if they show up .004" armature gap. As far as the rest of the motor, i was either going to rebuild or sell as a core
400$ for a complete engine? Oh hell yeah, in a minute... as long as it's a match for what I got.....That's a cheap Date.
Try and find Injectors,HPOP,Turbo, pedestal, etc, etc, in a junk yard for that...........

Exactly what i was thinking! And he's throwing the tranny in there too!
