Not a great pic, but last fall I was making it work trying to move my tractors around and tow my box trailer. Even with a W/D hitch turned up it struggled with real weight. So I bought the 250 and the Raptor just became a toy. Not being driven this winter. I hate the way the thing sounds, except on hard throttle when you hear the turbos spool up. Its quick and fun to drive, but I may move it.
I think it has deemed itself a useless novelty, and I agree with you, the ecoboost performs awesome, but they sure sound like crap, especially compared to a stock 5.0. Maybe buy a loaded 6.2 f-250 to replace it?
sounds like its all there, Then you get your v-8 sound back and bells and whistles back, 4.30?
That truck on the lot is a 3.73. I've had 6.2L trucks with the 3.73 before...it's OK. Rather have a 4.30. But then again I'd still have the 6.7L truck. Or maybe do nothing for now.
I had a 2006 v-10 with 3.73's and 35's. I thought it managed great with the torque-shift, definitely would have preffered the 4.30's. So i sold it and bought a 2007 dodge 3500 with 5.9 cummins and 3.73...lol
