Sunday Funday. EZ Lynk w/ 4” Flo Pro straightpiped and a S&B. Looks like I will need to add a resonator or muffler to reduce the low end drone. Ran a similar set up on my 2011 and never had to make these adjustments. No physical smoke coming out of the pipe which is ok by me and no loud angry hairdryer noise as some describe.
The stock filter was looking rough after 20k miles. Little concerned because of what appeared to be some oil in the lower portion of the filter.
A buddy of mine has a new Cummings with a block heater and we got down to about 30 last night. I asked if he’s plugged it in yet and he said the owners manual reccomends 10 degrees or below. That’s a new one for me
[QUOTE=KubotaOrange76;17662876]Got the speedometer dialed in perfectly with the 37's
I can relax now lol.
Tried the block heater out last night for kicks. 30* out
Ordered a Flo Pro twister resonator. They claim no performance loss or egt gains and that it's been successful.
Thanks on the weather guard. It really compliments the truck. Only service fleet trucks around town have em so it's a little different.
Initially ran a stock tune for comparison. After 10 miles of disappointment, I pulled over and pulled the 75hp from the cloud. It's exactly what I wanted and very similar to my 2011 with a tow tune. Only minor issue is it looks for 6 a little early around town...like at 40mph. Oh and exhaust smell in the cab when parked.
iphone camera is on its last leg but here's a quick shot. hoping to get an X for Christmas.

I dig the white steel weathergaurd. Have any pictures of it on truck?
Yea block heater isnt needed when its that warm out but what i was doing sat and sunday wasnt really warming the truck up so i figured why not try it out. Plus instant heat was nice.
My cummins trucks always impressed me and started great down to 0 or below. Deleted grid heaters as well.
