since my ez lynk install i wanted to document my results, and no longer clog up josh's thread.
pulled 13,400 lbs on tag along trailer from monticello up to dawsonville yesterday, also did short trip with 9300 lb goose neck. Very impressed with how truck handled weight. the tune pulled great, held 6th gear on most hills just loafing along at 65 mph 1500 rpm. More than plenty of power, plenty of stopping power as well. Averaged 13.6 at 65 mph 95% highway
No drone with exhaust, stays quiet in cab other than the occasional rumble with the radio turned down.
Heading out for 1200 mile round trip today, i will report back mpg findings when i return.
Plan to do egr plates soon, they are un plugged now, with no cel so far.
i ate there 2-3 times when i moved up here a few years back, place is over rated in my opinion, i can go to Culver's or burger & shake and get a better burger. I bet the place was cool 15 years ago, but they have really let the place go in my opinion
How was the low end/off the line performance? I'd love to go to 37s on stock rims, but I feel the bottom end performance towing will make me wait for custom tunes to turn the 37s and tow.
Im not sure on the speed linit, i can find out though
The low end torque and hp is there, just more of a delay in fueling till it hits a certain # of boost. You can feel it and get used to it. It breaks the tires loose on dry pavement.
UGA33 I have 37x12.5x20 on stock 20 inch rims Nitto Terra grappler G2. I don't notice any power loss they weigh about the same as my other tires I had 295x65x20 General grabber X.3. And my MPG read out is showing just at or below 18 miles to gallon. I don't plan on really ever towing anything except maybe a small horse trailer or travel trailer. I have the 6.7 diesel with 3.55 gears
So tell us about the ez lynk? Does it remove the 95 mph limit? Power increases? anything else.
Unless there is adjustablility with the EZ, the calibration doesn't. Raced my buddy the other day in his 2016 GMC 2500 and she shut off at 95.

I feel when not towing, I would be happy with the performance. When I do tow, I wouldn't. I wasn't satisfied the other day when towing 15k with the stock Michelins. Bottom end wasn't there. Custom tunes will fix it though.
I hand calculate every tank and record in my book, even account for speedo being off 1% with tires, usually within a few tenths of the truck mpg
These were empty running 95% highway
