Survived the storms. Ate some BBQ. Fuquay is getting ready for our big ballon fest. Missing the race this year for the first time in about 5 years, looking at a fairly quiet weekend for once. Might finally get back to the project this weekend.
Decided not to go to the Coca-Cola Race in Charlotte this weekend. Usually I setup a tent, drag 60 gallons of beer down, and sit on my *** for the weekend, watching and listening to cars run circles around me. As fun as it is, it takes a lot of prep and work to get there every year. I decided to focus on other things this year.
So I just switched TV service from dish to Spectrum since they made me a offer I couldn't resist. I just called Dish to cancel.. "Thank you for being a valued Dish network customer for 4 years, how can I help you?" "I need to cancel my service" **awkward silence**
Then she processed to offer me a $20 off deal for a couple months, however theybwerwnt interested in saving me money a couple weeks ago.

Ya I know what you mean. I cancelled cable, satellite back in October and only have internet with netflix and Amazon prime and don't miss it. I always felt if I was such a "VALUED" customer why wouldn't they offer me the savings before I wanted to cancel.
As someone who has hauled around a 6 tap bar to the races and such. I can tell you, it's pretty fun to do with Beer.
You can imagine how much beer is brought to and consumed on the infield of the coca-cola. However, one of the guys was interviewed on radio one year, and I was interviewed on TV one year for the amount of beer we brought to the race. Last year we had two 'bars' flowing.

Haven't had cable\ TV service in years. If I did, I'd be a couch potato within a day.
