High Point is just over an hour for me. It'd be a straight shot down 220 and 68 from here. Winston's a little further, but only barely. Usually about an hour and 15 minutes.
Thanks Marty. She was like a second Mother to me, since high school. I spent many nights over there, and always stop in for a cup of coffee. She left behind her husband of 50 years. He was the first person to teach me about working on trucks, and Fords. He had the crayola truck, an old 70's ford that covered the entire spectrum of a crayon box. Complete with a sheet of plywood in the bed and 4 bald tires.
I'm sorry to hear of your loss, Josh. I have friends like that, too, and I know what they mean to me, so I can imagine what that's like.

sorry to hear that josh... unfortunately it seems like every funeral ive ever been to thats the one thing that doesnt happen.. usually rains the whole time.. most the time just a drizzle.. like the skies crying..

Josh, again sorry to hear that.
Well no work today because of all the rain yesterday, to wet for cement, but yesterday did do a run from Apex to Statesville to pick up a load, took to Greenville and back to Apex and parked the truck.
Right now the sun is out but I think they are talking rain for later and if not may still not be dry enough for cement work.
So I get to run chores that I cant on weekends and if lucky get to do a little work on the truck.

Thanks all. The rain calmed down enough to visit with old friends after the service yesterday evening. Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight, and hopefully planning a junkyard run this weekend, since I haven't planned anything else for Memorial Day.

Good morning, Carolina! Hope you are all doing well. I'll be passing through late tonight. Heading to Concord for tomorrow's Ford Performance Fan Day. My oldest daughter and I are looking to have a fun day together scoring driver autographs and what not
