I am Anxious for the sound clips, does the sound mimic the 15-16's or the 11-14's? Seems the 11-14 are quieter , something to do with the turbos?

Hope to follow in your footsteps by next weekend, missing one part, and have a small tuning issue i am working on with ez lynk, they sending me a new unit monday. Glad to hear they are a pleasure to work on.

Truck looks good, i like the no tip look! Thanks for posting this

Here's one. I think the other one is too big as the forum software keeps kicking it back.

Like it took it for a run on the test track and no drone, faint whistle in cab at WOT with windows up, windows down she sounds good.

Very impressed with ez lynk and ease of install and how quick and easy it is to use

It doesn't sound like Josh's at all. What did you use? I see the stock tips still on there.

Just flo pro race pipe, kept the stock downpipe and stock tailpipe with stock resonator

I was hoping it would keep her from droning and quiet in cab based on alot of exhaust building exp. still feel like it needs another hanger on the pipe but it doesnt drone or vibrate. Plus ugly tip keeps her stock looking

Going to run about 200 miles towing this weekend then Taking 1100 mile road trip next week , will report back findings, of course all on a closed course testing facility

Man, it sounds absolutely perfect! A combo of muscle car V8 and diesel growl/whistle... Very nice setup. And, since I don't like advertising, I like the retention of the stock tip.

Thanks!

Ill try not to clog up josh's thread anymore. So ill make this the last, my apologies

I have the same findings as him as far as power goes, little low end throttle response loss which you can tell is just to keep smoke down, but more power once she is spooled. I did a full regen not long before the space ship fell off, so i ran about 100 miles with the new tune dpf on and could feel the changes
after the rocket fell off i could feel a legit seat of pants difference .

Do yall have any more clips of the 5" revving?

Thought you all might find this forscan app screenshot interesting, I took this with dpf on and tune loaded, egr didnt move more than 1-2% and notice the dpf and def readings
I wonder if the egr is actually fully disabled or not? Unless this reading is false, doesnt mirror snywhere close to factory valve movemts

Matt had talked about the lag being a low boost fueling strategy to keep the smoke down till the charger lit. I was wondering about the EGR also. I assumed it was turned off electronically, but I don't know. I'll ask Matt or Jeff today. Don't worry about posting stuff here. Post it

thanks

ill be interested in finding out whats done with the egr, normally the egr position moved between 5-50 in regular driving, sometimes to 70%, now it just moves from 4-6, almost like the computer is being fooled somehow, i may try unplugging mine next to see if it throws any codes.
I still want to know what ford application this file is used for...since it obviously makes more power and torque than the stock 440/925 file, and all the export trucks i have read about are in the 300 hp range, and some have egr, think they might know?
