Josh, I'm really digging all the mods so far. So your gonna go the whole 9 yards as far as deleting goes?
Yes. Tuning and exhaust will happen next week. Some trucks are having issues when physically removing the EGR system right now affecting VGT operation. Gonna see how mine responds before making the jump to a physical EGR delete along with a cold side pipe upgrade (not sure how the new stock design will do. May be better!). Will also remove the DEF tank, open it up and clean it real good for storage.

I'll be following you closely for the next few years. I'm new to diesels (in trucks, that is. Very familiar with them in boats) so I'm learning as I go. Thanks for posting all these mods!
When you say you'll be using the DEF tank for storage, are you going to use it like another tank for diesel?
In my humble opinion, I would leave the engine alone. Ford has a lot of programmers that spend man-years on getting these to run right. Just saying...
What if I told you that the the program used to tune the truck was a Ford calibration? Besides, Ford doesn't have the only team of people who can make these trucks run. Ford's team is just limited with what they are allowed to do

Literally cleaning it up to put on the shelf in the garage. Don't want that stuff just sitting in there for years. I waited about a year to pull the tank off my 2012 after deleting. DEF was still liquid, but I like the idea of dumping it and cleaning the tank out really good.

Wow, that's a loaded statement! I suppose you may be running the South American high sulfur calibration or a military calibration. That's really really cool
