Heater restore and fan switch

Heater restore and fan switch
This is the heater that was in my truck when i bought it years ago. It is the "Firestone" model from what i understand. The core has very small leak when i tested it with 10 lbs of air pressure so i'm going to take it to the radiator shop and see if they can clean it and fix any leaks for a reasonable price. The heat/defrost cable works fine and i'll thread the end and put a new **** on since the old one is pretty much disintegrated. The one question i have is where can i find a 6V switch for the fan? It was completely missing (just a bare wire going to the fan is all that remains). I test the fan on my 6V battery and it runs nice so i think i'll just need the switch but i can't find any repops. I'm not sure if there's just one speed or if it's rheostat type thing either? Any ideas?

Abe i think so. That's kind of the setup i have now (one for fan, one for defrost)
I found a Borg Warner S180 6V switch for a couple dollars that i'm going to try out. My friend owns a NAPA and thinks he has some NORS switches for 6V that will work. I need to find out if the core is repairable first before i spend any time or money on this one. I think i'll drop that off today and see what i find out.
