I had watched a vid by DTR about a cheaper set from Freedom made by Stallion, but as Tideman noted, $800 is a little steep. Freedom usually has a rental program, but that's usually 50%. To me that's not a rental. It would probably be cheaper to load the motor in the back of a pickup, take it to a friendly dealer, and have them install the front and rear seals right in the bed.
Jack, those were my thoughts too before I borrowed the tools. $800.00+ for than less than 5 minutes use. I had the tools back to them in less than 30 min. I do remember somewhere on one of the boards (a lot help I know) that a guy had pictures where he made one. That was a few years ago. I couldn't find it again when I needed it.
