$4895.00 Long Block. $399.00 gasket "0" ring kit. $175.00 shipping. $1000.00 Core Charge. Total $6469.00

We discussed "O" ring heads and a few other things and came to the conclusion that this being a daily driver, limited towing, and no tunes that the standard Long Block was what I needed.

Head gaskets are Victor Reinz but you can upgrade to Ford gaskets. Not sure what they use for the other gaskets and seals.

I'm curious how this will go for you Tideman. My neighbor is getting ready to pull the trigger on getting a long block from Asheville.

Sean, I was willing to buy the Ford head gaskets upgrade but he talked me out of it. He said Victor Ritz? Has two styles of head gaskets for the 6.0. The one he uses he has had zero failures from them. The rest of the seals and gaskets I didn't ask. I know I know I'm gonna catch hell from everybody on here so time will tell

Ha! I believe he is getting the 20 over and stage 2 cam so it might be a bit before it arrives when he finally orders it. He's having a shop install it so that should go pretty quick once he does.

I'd like a few more details on that engine stand... How wide did you make it between the uprights? What size steel did you use? Any flex? What should you do different on a v2?

I will be making one at some point in the next couple months.
