Sorry. I usually explain any acronyms I use first but I spaced this one.
OCR = Overboost Code Regulator. This is a "boost fooler" that is sold by Riffraff Diesel. Stock programming will start to defuel the truck at ~24psi and give you an overboost code. Custom tuning will eliminate the defueling issue but only some deal with the overboost code. This is a mechanical regulator that will not allow the Mass Air Pressure (MAP) sensor (aka boost sensor) to see over ~23psi so you will not defuel at 24psi (if you have stock tuning) and will not get an overboost code.
The general consensus is that the OEM turbo is good to about 30psi before you start running into life expectancy issues with the unit. There are others out there that are drop-in replacements that are good for at least 40psi.
