Good day folks, looks like we lose our weather for a few days starting tomorrow, snow showers for 2 or 3 days. Am hoping my grass seed catches soon so that I'm no longer looking at at potential mud bog in front of the house.

No snow here yet, just a light drizzle.
Thanks for the reminder, time for me to sprinkle grass seed on bare spots in my front yard.

I picked up a small bag of Scott water soaker turf builder as it was on sale, big surprise lol, seed is a greyish blue and is supposed to show results in 7 days. First result was on day 1 as I was $11 poorer.

Grass can be tricky to grow, give it time and hopefully you get a good catch.

Got a tree planted today, its one of those genetically modified evergreens that never grows once you take it out of the package, even has lights. Put in front of the kitchen window so that it would catch some of the dust that comes in plus I can soak it with ant and bug lkiller and keep them out as well.

Hopefully frost doesn`t get that tree you planted today, doesn`t genetically modified grass grow as quickly as that tree?
I think that`s gone for ever Gerry, times have changed.
Good news on your truck now running John, I can see your smile from here. I wish I could say the same but at the rate it`s going it`ll be a while....later this summer?

I had to turn down a job about 6 years ago because I couldn't guarantee myself that I could put down astroturf without any weeds or tree roots coming up. The guy kept trying to convince me that I could seeing as I was putting in a 6 hole pitch n putt in his neighbors backyard. He did get it put in but when I saw it 2 years ago it looked crappy.

Good morning Gerry, you`re an early riser compared to us out west guys.
Before reseeding I would use Round Up Perry, that should take care of most vegetation.
