There is a bit of flooding but only in a few areas, we`ll see what happens in the next few days.

Saw on the news that Manitoba was the land of 100,000 lakes again.
Are the ducks and geese starting to squat on your land again yet Morris.
Alternator took a crap on me tuesday night at 10.30 with a full load on board and I had to call in a rollback to take me home. Had an alternator, volt regulator and solenoid with 500 mile on them in the parts shed so that came in handy.
Picked up some landscape pieces from this clean up job for this years projects.

How did your day, evening go John?
I think that Saskatchewan is also the land of 100,000 lakes, I think I have that many wet pot holes on my farm this spring. Ducks and geese have been around for a while now but they don`t seem to hang around here, they keep on going north.
Bummer on the alternator going south on you plus the cost of a rollback home Perry. Three years ago the fuel pump bit the dust on my 67 fast back it was a lot more money for a roll back so I had it flat towed home.
Good evening Colin, enjoy your well earned weekend. Another nice 18°C day tomorrow, cooler on Sat. I hope the rain stays away.

Theres so many hokey tow operators here I wouldn't dare to let someone flat tow me. First call was to City wide and by the time all their add ons were in the price was 220. If your on any road with a speed limit of 80k or more they send down a safety vehicle to make sure the operator doesn't get hit by a drunk or rubber necker, driver got hit last week. Called a non white and got it done for 160 and the only thing he cared about was getting the job done right and fast. I have no problem being a road spotter and he had a family to support as his habit, worked out just fine. I had all these fresh parts so it was no bother to swap them all out and worry about it later, got to much to do to bother trying to figure out the exact problem. I've got $500 in steering parts that are 1200 miles old so that'll go in if theres anything flaky about my front end.
The sky has been full of schitt bombers for about a month now, they managed to get Ken's truck yet missed everybody elses.

I think that most tow truck drivers are good here, the bad ones get booted off pretty quickly as there is no shortage to pick from. It still cost me $100 for the flat tow for 12-15 kms, roll back was starting at $140 plus a longer wait. With older vehicles I liked to have as many spare parts and spare vehicles as I can manage. Now most of mine are 2012 and up except for my 3 old M100`s and 64 XL.
What`s a schitt bomber?

A schitt bomber is any duck or goose that has just taken off from feeding.

Happy Friday Mornin"all. Amen Colin! Being an auto mechanic by trade, I also have CAA. Most cars can't be fixed on the side of the road like before. We have Farm field in front of our house, and the geese do a great number spring and fall, on the front of our house. Have a great day guy's.

Grey outside today so who knows what that'll bring. Need to unload truck, give away a few things and reload with neighborhood clean up stuff for next trip to dump tomorrow, no rest for the wicked at this time of year.

I used to belong but a few friends had a tow trucks so I quit, never really needed tow except for projects which wouldn`t be covered any ways.
