I'm pretty resourceful and find ways to make the job easier, the walls are only 8' high and its only a 10' x 12' roof that's going on it, the peak will only be 24 to 30" . The trusses won't be to heavy and there's only 6 sheets of 1/2" plywood going up on it. I'll take some pictures tomorrow .

That was a quick trip John.
A friend just dropped off a re-pop front right fender, shaded back window for my 53 re-sto rod 53 plus a spare rad and a re-pop steering wheel for my stock 53 M100. I made the deal yesterday at a local swap meet, good deal for $550.

A friend dropped off a couple Ford hub caps that I think might be from the early 50's and are in pretty good shape. Going to clean them up and hang them on the wall in the shop. Wish I could come across some deals Morris..

53-56 ford/Mercury truck parts are really hard to find around here, new or used. I missed out on the driver`s side re-pop fender but I have a few that will be ok with a bit of work.

In my parts sheds I found 53, 53 and 55 grills I`ll clean up and mount them on my shop walls....some day. I have 3 spare hoods and a couple of tailgates but not enoug wall space for all that.

Shut it down early today, I have a rule that tells me that if I make a mistake its time to shut things down if I make it twice or make another one, I missed a stud with a screw twice, been doing this for to long to do that on the same panel.
Hope you had a good cruise John, you don't want to shop the swap meets out here Morris unless your rich and don't mind throwing money away.
The travelers are in Kenora already, did they get a hold of any of you guys on the prairies.

Going to swap meets here is another way to find parts Perry, finding parts isn`t easy around here.I haven`t heard anything from the travelers in a few days.
The closet to a complete body is a 56 M100, lots of cab corner rust but it`s not the worst I`ve seen around here lately. I`d have to look but I think that cab floor isn`t bad and the box is pretty good. Can`t seem to load pictures now, will try later.
