Lack of courtesy is just like lack of respect and lack of responsibility, why think of anyone else when you can go around only thinking about yourself. This has become an all to common problem. In small close knit communities where everyone knows each other, you stand out if you don't care about your neighbor. Here in the city you can live beside someone for forty years and not even know their name. People that live in small towns often get criticized for having small minds, yet some of the smallest minds that I've encountered have been in major cities.
When I lived in Toronto in an apartment it got to be a bit uncomfortable sometimes riding the elevator when the person you said hello to wouldn't even respond with a smile or see them turn and go back into their apartment if you happened to walk out of yours at the same time. It's much the same in this small town that is rather transient with contract workers..If you were a town drunk you'd have all kinds of friends to socialize with though...lol
I know what you mean John. Even in town here there are a lot of new people and most grew up in a city and they are not used to talking to people even their neighbors. Some have embraced the small town life and others can't or won't change.
It took a couple of years to get this neighborhood to come alive, but then again, most of my neighbors had been dealing with white trash for a long time before I came along. Now that most of the street and myself are on the same page we get along quite well, the only exceptions are the white trash drunks. When I get set up on the corner this whole area is going to get put back together like a normal small town. Cops are going to hate me big time, James on the corner is debating with his mother if I'm Wyatt Earp or Doc Holiday. lol
Hey Colin and Morris, I've got a silly question for one of you, where do I find a 6 volt battery for my 48. Don't worry, I know these flat heads are positive grounded.

Probably a farm dealership, Co-op farm supply, Peavey Mart. I only have the Ford 850 tractor that`s a 6 V battery that`s lasted about 8-10 yrs.
Happy Canada Day back at you Gerry, John and everyone here.
Most drivers obey the law but there`s always the odd dummy. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskat...-suv-1.4187347

Happy Canada Day All. Kalan's City Final's this weekend. We lost to the 1st place team this morning (we ended in 2nd). We were throttled! next game at 6pm. Hope we fair better. Have a great day guy's.
Two weeks an be a long time. We get ticks here starting in early spring till July then they return in August. I give my two puppies pills that seem to be working so it seems to be $80 well spent.
Good luck Kalan!
