Today was mostly spent watching the playoffs thru my eyelids.

Chief, I was afraid you were going to say matching duffle bags. LOL Hope everyone get feeling better after we all have been battling this crud. Tomorrow starts my 6 day week, I hate working Saturdays.

When I first went to work at Robins AFB. Saturdays did not bother me 10 hrs @ time and a half. Would go to Advance and make the comment I made that I made as much on a Saturday as I did for a week working there

Umm no, my days of sporting Camo are over. I do have a nice roller duffel bag but it's full of old army gear. I am just fine with being an average Joe.

They sort of promoted me today, I am over QA checks on machines leaving out after service. No pay increase yet but getting a leg up on that.

that's way to be slow get a better position. Being you can wrench as fast as the young guys. so does that mean you drag most of your tools home.

I read some where that when you buy luggage that you will need to claim flight, cruise, bus etc that you should buy the ugliest most hideous you can find. that way no one will claim your bag

Wife doesn't really want to do a cruise and I plan on most of the time having them with me. They are plain red nothing special but I do have some blue luggage tags i can put on them.
No tools stay for now, I still have to wrench but look at others people stuff too. I got a position not a promotion.

Found my leak. When I put the new water pump on some how I messed up the gasket on the bottom. While waiting on the new gasket from Orileys got a few minor things done. Replaced the headlight switch, wired up the cablights, fixed the tail lights that had started acting up. Replace a broken back up light. Swapped the radio. Apparently my backup camera went out getting a no signal error. Have power to the camera. Finished up the badging.

One more day on it and it should be back on the road. Did not get the gasket till 4:30 so I finish the water pump and do the body molding tomorrow. I have picked up an air intrusion problem work it later

As I said earlier about long range planning, I am not good at it. The two of you worked hard, and planned for the future, this moron did not. I will be working into my mid to late 60's sad to say. But as long as I can stay healthy, and keep growing the 401K I should be fine.

I'd say I started working on it hard about 25 years ago but I wouldn't say I planned for it per say. Some was planned and some was luck. I am probibly not going to fully retire, just find something a lot less physical.
