Forgot that I made to the shop this morning. Finished putting the dashboard back together, and to my surprise, I have all the lights working including the actual dash lights. One more thing to scratch off the list.

Me too !!

It's 16 Degrees on the thermometer right now and it's going to drop at least a degree or two more before the sun starts to warm things up.

I spent the evening looking at restaurant reviews at Disney World. I want to do a nice dinner every night while we are there. All of the higher end restaurants take reservations and they go quickly, that's why they let you reserve 180 days out if you stay on Disney Property and get the meal plan. The next thing is to get a nice set of Luggage, we have a hodge podge set right now.

No frozen pipes thank goodness but the power has flickered off twice. So far just an annoyance since I have to wait for everything to boot back up.

I am an avid Amazon prime user. 99% of the time it will be at the house in 2 days. So far I have never been disappointed with any purchase from them and I can get it for a better price than buying it in town.

Got the pipes thawed now the well is short cycling. Got a heater in the pump house to heat it up. Hope I do not have to replace a tank today. I never used my prime enough to justify the 99 a year thing. I use the subscribe and save for some stuff. I use eBay more

Fixed the well from short cycling. Glad did not have to replace the tank. First time it ever did that. It was cycling so hard it was opening the relief valve on the water heater.

More shoddy work from the guy Servpro recommend 10 years ago. He put shutoff valves inside walls among other things

Glad to hear you got it fixed with no damage. The power has flickered more than 10 times and it's more aggravating than anything but at least it comes right back on. I need to build an enclosure for the pool pump and add a heat lamp. The automatic chlorinator is always the first to freeze since the lines are so small and it does not flow a lot of water.

When it gets cold enough, I have seen the tank start to freeze. The ice takes up space which lowers the volume causing the pump to work more. Glad you were able to thaw it out, there's a lot to be said about city water. So far so good with our pipes here.

The shop is not heated, we can turn on a kerosene heater to have a way to keep the hands warm. We actually get it warmed up when the green house warms up, and use a box fan to draw the heat into the shop. It is a big help.

At least it is an enclosed space that you can heat and out of the rain.

This was the first time the pump short cycled after the pipes froze. Now the water is stirred up due to the pump jumping up and down in the well. I guess there was a blockage between the pump and tank. With the pump off open the outside spigot a little water run out flip the breaker with it open full pressure. Closed it been fine ever since. Keep the heater on low tonight

Glad to hear that you got the dash back in and the lights working Bob. I have been out of the house maybe a grand total of 3 hours all weekend. With it cold outside and the playoff's on TV I'm good..
