Finished and submitted my tax return this morning. Not quite as much as I was hoping for but all of it is going towards paying off the Lightning.

The flip down dvd player in the hummer has no sound and the remote doesn't work. There are no instructions in the truck. I ran the part number on the remote and it came back as a factory GM remote. I did a google search for factory dvd player and none of the ones on there look like the one we have, strange.

I get hit hard on the quarterly commissions, I file as soon as I can because I get about 10% of it back. Helps to pay a lot of bills, and get parts for the truck.

I usually get a pretty good refund but this the first time in a few years I wasn't deployed so that pretty much put an end to that. It was looking pretty good till I added in the Yancey W2 and that it cut the refund in half. It is what it is.

I think I have decided I am going to sell the Jag. We have 5 vehicles and I want to lower our insurance payments some.

That insurance can eat you alive, especially when you can't drive all of them most of the time. Good luck.

It's not too bad considering how many vehicles we have and we have full coverage on 3 of the 5. Just looking ahead and trying to save some money.

Chief
There is another discount for driving a car less than 5 k a year. You may get the old people discount can't remember if it is 50 or 55. My neighbor is looking for something under 4k to b

Sounds like another check mark to go ahead and fully retire. You did not include your VA money did you? I foresee you not going back to work after Diseny

Welcome back Jacob. After the Cisco we had at Christmas, we are staying here in GA. We bought 8 and 1/2 acres close to lake Jackson .

Driving up to Spartanburg to check out modular log homes today

It will be very tempting but I want to build my savings back up and maybe pay off the Hummer before I totally give it up. After Disney I would be OK with something closer to home.

Jacob, glad you have gotten settled in. Same old thing here on my end, will get back on the truck in the next week or so and see if it can be finished, or at least a little closer. Welcome back. Bob
