I had day shift today and let the wife come home and get some sleep. With the breathing treatments his chest congestion is better and he will eat some solid food, but he still will not drink a bottle. We tried everything, sweet tea, strawberry milk, apple juice and formula. Once he starts drinking a bottle he can go home. Hopefully he will tomorrow.

Wife sent me a picture this morning of him drinking a bottle !!! Hopefully we can bring him home today!!! Getting ready to go back to the hospital for my shift but hopefully they will let him go around lunch time.
I will be glad when winter is over because it seems like my wife and or my son is always sick.

We decided to take our time and leave for Orlando a day early. We got a motel room for one night on International drive and I have been on International Drive many times when I was growing up since we lived only an hour or so away. I went to a water park called Wet and Wild but just found out they closed it down last year.. We are going to stay here: http://www.booking.com/hotel/us/coco..._photo-2469462.
We can go to Disney Spring that evening and eat at the T-rex cafe: http://www.trexcafe.com/index.asp I am taking 2 weeks off of work and just plan on having a good time and not be rushed.

I told my wife we needed to figure out what days we are going to what park at Disney World so I can make dining reservations, she said you plan we will go with whatever you decided.

Glad to hear that little man is improving. My youngest grandchild had a short battle with the RSV. They wee able to treat her at home with breathing treatments every four hours for about a week.

Sounds like everything is set to go on the Disney trip.

Thanks everyone,

We brought little man home today and he is taking a nap in his bed!!! Good to have him home again. The wife and daughter look like they have been beat up after 2 days at the hospital.

One of the nurses commented to my wife how much I loved my grandchild. My wife just looked at her and said it's not his grandchild it's his son... too funny.

I know it would happen, it's still funny to me. I had already thought about doing the t-shirt thing.

Yes Bob my vacation plans are coming together. I'm so ready. Looking forward to our weekend at the beach in April and then Disney in September. I still have to buy the in room celebration: Disney In-Room Celebration - Welcome Family- Disney Floral and Gifts

It's a little pricey but this will be our daughters first trip. Little mans too but he won't remember but we will have pics. We have been on vacations before to Sea World, Bush Gardens, swam with the Manatees and to the beach every year but I want this one to be really special. She is a great kid and will be turning 18 next year and you know life kicks in after that with a job, school whatever so I want it to be really over the top for her.

Thats at Disney Land but still insane but there are people out there that will pay it.

I reserved our room at the Coco Resort this morning. It will be our first real vacation with little man. We should be OK as long as we have plenty of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse movies for the ride!!! The beach weekend in April will be our trial run. He is a good traveler so I'm not really worried.

I'm glad to see that you have some self control when it comes to Mickey.

I can go big but go stupid is another matter.

Between the weather the last few weeks and putting in the new floor I was finally able to get a few things done around the homestead today. That is after I let the wife sleep today in since the night shift at the hospital really wore her down. I am going to finish our taxes tomorrow so I can get that out of the way.

Started to get ready for the carport for the truck. Have to cut down some branches in the back yard that could fall on it. Then a little regrading, then put in the footings. Got the taxes done Thursday night, and sent in electronically, should hit the bank by late next week.
