Belated good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. The clouds just parted and we are actually getting a little sunshine. Well, I think that is what it is. Temp is up to 46.

Friends of ours, (He and I go back to the 70's in the cop shop, and she is from the Philippines and works with Diana at the Casino), are having some problems right now similar to what we just went through. Her mother has been put back into intensive care in Salem.
Anyway, she sends cookies and other baking goodies home rather often and we always have brought them fish. She goes crazy over the Diamond Lake Rainbows.
We called them last night and Diana is going to take them some more Diamond Lake Rainbows we had in the freezer along with some elk burger and elk stakes. She told Diana she was very excited about it.
I can remember about 1996 when my good bud was mapping the new hwy route for an OSU Grad class final project. It's been a long time coming! I plan to drive it soon, on the way for some MO's chowder!
Good morning fella's. I recently saw that the new section of Hwy 20 to the coast is finally open, have any of you taken the route?
Probably won't use that route from the Sheridan area.
I usually go Hwy 18 to Newport. It's only 65 miles to the South Beach Boat Ramp.
If I were to go into Dallas and south to 20 Via Kings Valley it turns into 145.6 miles.
BTW, Georgie's Beach Side Grill homemade clam chowder on Elizabeth Street in Newport makes Mo's clam chowder seem like watered down potato soup. Sea Hag in Depot Bay has excellent Clam Chowder too.
