The restrictions Federal seasonal workers have is 1,049 hours a year, or 6 months in a calendar year. Whichever comes up first. If it was just the hours, I could work part time the whole year, but my 6 months is up.
I could get hired for a seasonal position with a different job title (laborer or maint. worker instead of Park Ranger) for the next 6 months, but this time around I'm just going to take the time off.
We could actually go for 1040 hours in a year, but if we went over 200 hours in a quarter with the State, were required to join the union. NOBODY wanted a thing to do with that.

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Lots of rain. Oregon Association of Shooting Ranges meeting at ODFW HQ in Salem tomorrow. Free lunch, but it burns a full day.
Built a fire out back today and burned up some old limbs. Ended up with a few pieces of firewood for the shop. That was fun.... Have more to do later on.
Made a little progress on one of my engines this last week of Saturdays. Ordered a couple more parts to finish things up.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Lost a degree from earlier. Down to 31. Wet with showers.
Getting ready for our meeting, will be leaving for Salem in about an hour.
