1A Auto Mirror issues

Bion, we have the same EXs, '05 XLT V-10s and my 1AAuto ( the regular ones, with no distortion, waves or vibrations) '08+ tow mirrors were plug and play with all features ( heat, power adjust, signals and running lights) fully functional. There was an adapter pigtail included, I can't remember if I needed to use it or not but everything plugged in and worked, I don't think you will need to do any wiring.

Just an extra on this. I just got off the chat with 1A Auto. They said that the Trail Ridge Mirrors brand they sell are better than their standard 1A Auto mirrors. The Trail Ridge are supposedly at "OEM quality" (their words) I'm finally gonna bite the bullet and buy the Trail Ridge mirrors. I finally got to sit in a 2016 with them and it really is better than mine even with C-Better spots.
Is there a thread on wiring for the turn signal and marker lights? Mine is a 2005 and I have not looked at the wiring diagrams yet. I know it can be done, just which way is the question.

Had 2 sets of 1aauto mirrors myself, no issues.
AFAIK there is only one supplier for these aftermarket. 1aauto, ebay, superduty service (possibly the best price on them) all get them from the same Taiwanese manufacturer.
If you think the OEM pieces aren't offshore you're drinking the kool aid.

I contacted them and mine are still under warranty so they are sending me a new set no questions asked. So that's pretty good of them although I'm not convinced the new set will be much better but I'd be crazy not to try. Anyways just thought I would update this thread. I'll let everyone know how the new ones work out. Fingers crossed.

I have been threw the "aftermarket warped mirror" deal more than a few times in my life. So when it came time to get mirrors for the X I went OEM even though there was so much praise of the A1 mirrors.
I watched and watched and finally got a deal of $500 for a set of like new take off oem mirrors. A little more money than A1's but I like oem and the quality is perfect.
I got to check out Exxwhys A1's at a ford meet. I was impressed with their quality actually. They were much better than I imagined an aftermarket mirror would be. But I still like my oem's.
