Holy friggin moley... It just struck me that it's December, and we are less than 30 days from 2017. Somebody has got to put the calendar on a slower clock cycle!
The first day of December wasn't a pretty one for me. Truck barely started this AM, then about halfway through my daily commute, the brake booster let go, then it developed a nasty miss. Barely got there. When I went to start it up to leave, started fine but the temp gauge let go. Limped home and fixed the miss. On the test drive it started knocking bad. Time to pull the motor and either build it into a 390 or go diesel.

Ouch! That's not cool Dewd! Hope you didn't have problems coming down through Shasta.

You know, bless that ole truck, she still got me home safe n sound even though she was dearly under the weather. I'm glad I have my bronco to drive meanwhile, but the thought of a ~375hp 390 takes a fair bit of the sting out of it.
We will see how I do after hanging out with 30+ Cub Scouts tomorrow and tomorrow evening for our Christmas Lights Parade. Have the tow vehicle and generators, so I'm there for the duration. Here is last year's entry.
