Yes, there was a 2G. And it did have plugs and an external fan where the 1G had studs for ring-tongue connectors and an external fan. The 3G has an internal fan.

The 2G didn't last long as the connectors tended to come loose and the resulting resistance burned many vehicles to a crisp.

Yes, The fan will pull down the 1G if it is below 100 amp and on a single belt

finaly I got paint on the truck

at least seven layers of paint. I'm very proud of my painter, what he can do with industrial paint equipment is phenomenal...

of couse, buy an 130a
3G gen.

reorganize the oil switch/sender/relay thing on the right fender.

put the even good original teddy carpet back in.

still waiting for the seat

got a few moldings from ARGENTINA!
but still need the front right side bed molding and a few plastic retainer for the door.

stay tuned, hardy

Excellent! Looks good, Hardy! Do you know the part number for the trim you need?

I have PayPal, but I don't have the part. What are you suggesting?

And, I assume you got the part number from here - right?

That does look nice.
When I saw the picture of the spray equipment I was wondering if that was what was used? I am surprised how well it came out using it.
Guess it all has to do with the person behind the gun and how it gets used.

sorry, it takes a little longer to answer, I was a few days in berlin.

@ gary: maybe YOU can buy the parts for ME and send it over the ocean.

there was a good reason to go to berlin:

a guy buy a new nice chromed chinese junk bumper and sell his old dirty original bumper for 50€, + I get a nice set original rear mirrors for free.
I think we both are happy, my old one is badly deformed.
dare not to drill any holes in it to replace the black plastic things.

Hardy - You did well with your trip to Berlin.

On the 29076, let me see what I have. May be a few days with the show happening in a couple of days and all the guys showing up here tomorrow.

I can not answer on my own thread in your forum (I'm badly hitting by computer dyslexia...,a-new-word-I-hear-in france).

and yes, I need the moldings. I'll send you a PN for details.

merci, hardy

Hardy - As you saw my PM box is pretty much full. I replied via PM with my email address as I don't do much on FTE anymore. But I have found a NOS piece and have the used one.
