Join EAA for $40 buck and Ford gives you Xplan with an additional $750 rebate and reduces the transfer fees from $399 to $100 bucks. Here is the thread.

You best deal on an ordered vehicle: Invoice, X Plan or Family and Friends Pricing (if and when offered) + any incentives that are allowed to be stacked.
On a lot car then it becomes the mindset and business model of the dealer. Some dealers who model is to move'um will deal hot and heavy the day the vehicle arrives. I just bought my '17 KR at X Plan + incentives which were allowed to be stacked. We compared X plan and Invoice and X plan was slightly better but it carried with it a $750 kicker and allowed stacking. My deal was:
X Plan - $2250 worth of incentives, I got a good deal. The EAA as stated in the post above is a $40 buck join fee and it gives you X plan + the $750 kicker.
When its all said and done your discounts can add up to about little less than < 10% and NOW you got to really look close at the deal because the dealer can stack on more fees than maggots on road kill and your discount can disappear.
You COST as you drive out of the dealer will be and should be a few % points UNDER MSRP if you dealer is stand up and only hits you for TT&L. Tax here in Tx is 6.25%, think my title fees were about $125 and my Lic fee was $6 bucks.
I know there are some on here that post mind boggling discounts off MSRP. I sent one guy a PM and asked for the name of the dealer and who he dealt with for a supposed discount of 24% after TT&L!!! He replied the dealer was not in Tex and I replied that for that kind of discount I fly up and drive it back...never heard back.
Remember the 3 components of the deal:
MSPRP, TT&L, Dealer adds ons.
Getting a BIG discount off MSRP does you no good if you have to pay $3000 for windshield wipers made from used condoms and $5000 for gear shift **** covers made from the ******* sacks of the (rare and endangered) Naugahyde.
I walked out on a deal such as that one time. The discount was huge and the goal was to get you to say yes and then in front of the Finance guy who closed the adds ons. I remember the finance guy saying that all these adds ons were already on the car and could not be removed, like the windshield washer fluid made from the pizz of 40 year old virgins. So I walked, you should to.

My MSRP is $79,858, 350 Plat Crew Cab Long Bed SRW, agreed on $74k. When it comes down to it, you need to determine if yourself if you dont get this truck with everything you want, will you find another or does another dealer have this. It was hard to find a Platinum with all the must haves for me, this one had all my must haves and when I looked around there weren't any in the western US that had one. Im in Southern California and was willing to go all the way to Arizona or Oregon to get one and drive back! Still nothing.

OK...you may have agreed on 74....but very few people on here go home with a Platinum only spending 74. Add on TTL, Extended warranty, maybe a Service Plan, tire swap and you will be back above 80K for sure. I know the original poster said not taxes or fees...but a more realistic number of how much is actually going to leave your piggy bank is good sometimes also.
