If you guys are like me, you are always looking for extra money off of MSRP. Well, I just received an email stating the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) is now offering $750 Ford Bonus Cash, in addition to X-plan pricing. I'd say that's not a bad deal!
For $40 a year, I'd say that's well worth it if you plan on buying a Ford vehicle.
by the time I pick ours up we should be right at 30 days membership, IF the eta is right besides if they counted my previous membership I'd be at almost 10 years.
EAA has to love all the new participants. I had to sign up to get the details and I think the $750 only comes when using X Plan. Oh well, it will at least be another bargaining chip at the dealer table who said they would beat X Plan by $800 right from the start. They want the sales figures for the dealership, not the X plan.
They don't enforce the membership for a period of time requirement.
I will say that in the past neither the EAA or AQHA has enforced it but the dealership itself might if they are afraid of violating the rules and losing their "extra" commission of $300 for accepting the PIN.
I was able to generate the $750 without joining...weird. Can I use it w/o x-plan (my deal is a little better than x-plan would yield)? Any idea? I see Rob eludes to them being linked...not sure if anyone has any first-hand knowledge?
