Ordered 2018 F350

Just ordered my 2018 F350 SRW CC LB

Ruby Red Metallic
Magnetic two-tone
6.7L
3.55 Elocking
FX4
Extended running boards
Nav
Rapid Heat
Block heater
5th wheel prep
Roof clearance lights
F & R wheel liners
Upfitter switches
Dual Alt/Snow plow pkg
Garage opener
Tailgate step
High mount camera
Lariat Value Pkg

Production doesn't start on the 18's until late Nov so I would suspect Jan-Feb delivery, no real experience with ordering and three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Years) right after the lines start up so who really knows. I couldn't find a 2017 with what I wanted on it in SoCal.

Awesome! Have you driven any 6.7L Fords? Pretty different from the Cummins.

I ordered mine on the 17th of November last year and got it the 18th of January. I'm guessing your timeline will be similar.

Ya, dodge 2500 will going bye bye. Great motor and I have driven the 6.7L.
Block heater is great just in case. Cheap option to have, $50 maybe? Same with 4wd, not needed here but we have an RV so no telling where we could end up.

I spend most winters in Florida , but still ordered the engine block heater for winter camping trips to the Smokies . I also ordered the snow plow package to get the 6k front springs to balance the front / rear suspension with the trailer .

Got the same truck, only black. I soooo wanted ruby red and now I'm kicking myself. I absolutely love that color on these new trucks.
But I'm wondering why you switched from Ram? Judging by your avatar you seem to be all about the cummins, why are you switching?

My 06 Ram 2500 is rated at 12k towing, my fifth RV weighs more than that.
The 48RE transmission is a 60's design (torque flight 727) and prone to problems, even when built (built trans back in the shop for the third time).
So I need more tow capacity and tired of the 4 speed 1960's transmission problems.

Truck was built on 12/19, will be on the truck leaving the plant on 1/21.
