Guys I need some help. I got Forscan successfully going and was able to change a few things (secure idle, trailer module activiation, etc.) But when I try to add the DPF soot % to my screen the instructions say I need to access the ICP which I think is the Instrument Control Panel. I do not see that as an option in my Forscan modules list. I see APIM, BdyCM, PCM, etc. But I do not see ICP. Is it because of the adapter I'm using? Or is something else wrong?

Here's the one I bought:

@ZooDad I recently upgraded from the SYNC 4.2" screen to SYNC3 that was updated to 3.4 in my 2019 F250 XLT. I finally got the zoom working on my backup camera, the white curved lines work as well as the straight yellow and red lines. What is not showing up is my truck off to the right with the 4 reverse sensor zones. I changed APIM 7D0-02-01 to 5553-0103-40C6, that got my zoom working, but no truck icon with reverse sensor zones. Any help is appreciated!

So I sent back that adapter and bought a slightly more expensive one that's "recommended" by the Forscan team. It's working great.

So I enabled the DPF soot load % on my screen. Worked great. It shows 90% full though (!). I wasn't expecting that.

That's Normal, It will go up to 99% then 100% briefly before it starts the regen and then hopefully you can continue to drive it until it gets back down to 0%. If you shut the engine off before it gets to 0%, then the next time you drive the regen will then be off and the % will start to increase until it reaches the 100% and then regen.

On an all day trip of 400-500 miles it will cover the full range.

Wondering if anyone can help me- I recently purchased a 2018 F350 Lariat Powerstroke. The previous owner used forscan to make some changes. One of the changes he made was Line 81 on the spreadsheet, disable traction control. He didnt save any of the original values.
And I would like to put it back to stock considering all this feature does is disable the switch. The full traction control is on all the time with no way to turn it off. If anyone has the original value so I can put it back to stock I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

My guess is you will need the "As Built" data for your truck. Go to the first page of this thread to find the As Built info ( where you need to go to get it, etc.) Then once you have the As built data, have Forscan set up and running you would restore that line that was changed to As Built, restoring functionality. It may be more simple than that, but that is how I would approach it. Good luck !

I tried that but I think you need IDS to see the configuration.

As stated above. Get the original AsBuilt from the MotorCraft web site.
copy the AsBuilt data into excel so you can read it. AB files don’t associate to a windows program.
change the data on line 81 back to factory with ForScan. No IDS or FDRS needed.

So if I'm reading the spreadsheet correctly, you CAN'T override the speed limiter for the mirror foglights and the cameras??

Nope. The mirror spots require a simple add on harness (boosted grey goose), or the free method that requires some modification of a wire. The only way to override the cameras is with one of the after market kits.

So since I posted this, I can no longer access the IPC module with ForScan again. Same adapter, same laptop. It's just stopped "seeing" the IPC module.

The only thing different about the truck is that I took the factory 4.3" screen/Sync module out and replaced it with an aftermarket JVC radio and Maestro module. All of that is working perfectly, by the way. Steering wheel buttons even work great. But does the loss of the little Sync module behind the dash have anything at all to do with ForScan not being able to "see" the IPC module anymore??

I'm trying to diagnose why my interior courtesy lights no longer come on when I open the doors. The lights work on the individual buttons. The main button is "on" to allow them to come on with a door open, but they do not. I want to check the IPC module to see if there are any settings that I need to change, but ForScan won't view the IPC anymore.
