This. I put the harness in mine. It’s a great addition for me. More light when off road on logging roads and such is always a win IMO.

There are a few options that you will see when you hook Forscan up. I don't think it's necessary though and possible that the change doesn't actually do anything on the 17-19 trucks.

Here are the options shown for my 2019. The bottom line is how mine was configured from the factory. I didn't make any change when installing the two Odyssey batteries, left it as is.

2019 F250 XLT 6.2 Gas. For those that have added the Ford remote start (lock/unlock/lock) and enabled everything in Forscan, do your taillights come on when you remote start it? My cab lights, mirror lights, front running lights all do, but not my taillights. I remember having to go into plain mode just to get the current lights working with remote start, thinking maybe I missed something. Thanks, Jon

Can confirm tail running lights come on. 2019 STX 6.7L with the add-on remote start; applicable changes done in Forscan (would need to check my word document to confirm what exactly).

Thank you, but apparently I am dumb, or my bulbs are just really dim.......I hit remote start today, went out to the back of the truck and the taillights were on. So it appears its all working properly. I remote start from about 200 yards at work and it works great but I cant tell if its on because 1) its so quiet and 2) its daytime, so seeing any lights is hard. On my 17 F150 with a Borla and Diode Dynamic taillight bulbs, I had a visual and audio proof from that same distance. Thank you for clarification!

Glad it’s all good! That’s what made me tempted to try to add the legit remote start back when I first looked into it. I see now on my wife’s explorer remote the feedback LED and that would be a nice feature to have.

from what I researched, it seemed like all one would need is a new antenna/transmitter as I think the factory remote start fobs work off a different frequency, but at the time I did mine I couldn’t find any posts on the forum where someone did it and confirmed for sure, so I went with the tried and true add-on module.

Wish there was a way to turn up the heat on the steering wheel when there isn't an HSWM listed. My wheel was toasty hot when I first got the truck, but after a software update was done, it has been luke warm.

Keypad Code

Am I able to retrieve the Keypad Code using Forscan? I have a '22 XLT that I bought used and did not come with the card that has the code. I have seen a couple of videos on YouTube on how they use Forscan but none of them have helped.

May be a way with Forscan but I’m not 100% sure.

What I had to do when adding the door keypad on my 2019 was check on the sticker behind the BCM (fuse box in passenger kick panel). Hopefully that trick still works for the newer models!

I want to go from 275/70/18 to 295/70/18's. They are the same circumstance as the 20" tires Ford uses. Can I get the value and where to find it's location to change that? I had Ford do this on my 2019 and would like to do this myself this time.
