I would like to see the heated seat temps so I can isolate which TED in them is bad. Can Forscan do this?

You can also turn on the PIDs and monitor them to see which one isn't working in the live stream data.

Totally lost being I haven't used Forscan much but will try to figure it out when I have a chance.

It's pretty easy to figure out- click the "read PID data" in Forscan then add the 4 PIDs for the TED's to the list of displayed values. I forget what they are called but once you get into the list of PID's they are pretty easy to figure out.

Does anyone happen to know if there’s a way to disable the automatic high beams from turning off when I go below 25mph? I live a couple miles back a hilly county road that’s 25mph with lots of deer and elk, so they’re constantly flicking off and I just want them to stay on unless there’s a car coming the other way.

If you turn the high beams on with the turn signal stalk after you get below 34 MPH they will stay on and in manual mode until your speed goes back above 34 MPH, when they will go into auto mode again. I do that all the time.

I believe if you turn the head light setting from AUTO to ON... that the entire automatic headlight feature is disabled. I had this on accidentally once and couldn't figure out why my auto-beams were not working any more... and that was why.

Yeah, right now I just flick the high beams back on. But I do think the functionality works well overall and I like having auto on, I’d just like to have the high beams stay on at lower speeds is all. Nothing I can think of should require them to turn off for any reason other than oncoming traffic and since it’s speed based I was hoping there might be a way to adjust that.

My wife's new Yukon doesnt turn off based on speed. Coming into an RV park or through a residential neighborhood I am bright-lighting every window and person standing in their yard. It drives me insane, I much prefer my Fords method. Maybe they should lower the limit, but definitely keep the low speed shut off.
And it makes sense, at 20mph you low beams will allow you to see a few hundred feet away and give you plenty of time to stop, no need for high beams at those lower speeds. Looking for hiding deer is a pretty good reason though.

I suppose my bias of not having any neighbors close enough to light up was showing, that’s a good use case. Even if I could adjust it to 10-15mph it would make a big difference though.

Can FORScan add back the outside temp to the center dash console, it used to be right by the compass heading? During some update Ford did, (bad APIM replacement) I lost the outside temp in the center dash, so now it's only on the Sync 3 when not connected to my iPhone (Car Play). Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks in advance

I don't think I have ever noticed outside temp displayed anywhere but the Sync screen. When you say center dash console, is that not the Sync 3 screen?

CarPlay has never been able to display outside temp. Factory has it on the Sync display in the center.
