Early morning coffee thread
#1622
Good morning my 6oh Brethren.
Enjoying another cup of coffee here at work, waiting for the contractors to get working.
Cold this morning, 35 degrees, not as bad as some of you others in your areas.
Looking forward to driving my truck this week , as I had to drive the company truck last week.

Coffee (many cups) and planning our return trip. Finding places to park the RV as we travel.
Taking 98 around the gulf. Sadly, some places are still full. One stop for sure is a place called Coastline near Carrebelle (sp). Then need a place near Pensacola. Then off to area around New Orleans.
Fun fun fun
Man I have been looking forward to this trip home.

We stayed here week before last and had a great time. Not fancy but clean, nice full hookups, above average wi-fi and good folks. Less than 5min off 98. It may be too far East for your plans though. https://www.google.com/search?ei=kiu...k1.fjON1gt1-aQ
This is probably closer to where you want to be. Navarre Beach Campground . More expensive and upscale but they deserve the great reviews you'll see online.
We haven't stayed on the west side of Pensacola bay so I can't help much there. Pensacola itself is a very old city and many streets are narrow and curve around in confusing ways. Beautiful place but better to take the truck and leave the RV at an easier spot to get to.
This is a favorite if Panama City is far enough. Pineglen RV Park Panama City Beach, Florida . Sort of homey place with all the hook-up for a good price. We stayed there half a dozen times and will be going back.
Lots of options all down through that area just trying to point out a few that we had good experiences with. There are a few very expensive ones and a few dumpy ones you might want to skip. Enjoy your trip!
Oh, I forgot to say there are a butt load of Florida state parks all down through there also and most are very nice and very inexpensive. Usuially just water and electric hook ups though. For us, if we're just staying for a day or three no big deal, there are several local TV stations and we just dump on the way out. Some of them are kinda small and they stay pretty full year round but it's easy to search Availability here: https://floridastateparks.reserveamerica.com/welcome.do
