Good morning. Coffee time.

So, be it right, or be it wrong, I decided to watch the oil and see what happens on this change.

A thousand miles and the level has not changed on the dip stick. I will keep watching it for now.

New issue took place 2 days ago. Tranny Temp sensor went out. 3 Ford dealers later, I found one that had one. $23 for the sensor and $68 for the 9 quarts of SP. Deciding to do the repair in the campground was the question. Got up early yesterday and went to work on it.

If it wasn't for all those bolts in the pan, it wouldn't have taken an hour. But, it went smoothly. That little sucker was hard to pull out. Was thinking, hope I don't break that sucker off! Took 8.5 quarts to refill. All is well with that issue now.

We are currently at Sam Houston Jones State Park near Lake Charles, La.

I only had one bottle of the home style wine I made, lastnight, and boy I had a slight headache this morning . All gone now, but geez that is some high content in those bottles.

Made it work, and now drinking the company coffee. When I retire/quit/get fired, it will be the one thing I will miss most, the awesome coffee here.

Sean,

Good to see that things were not as bad as feared.

Having morning coffee at home today (state holiday) before getting stuck into a bunch of home/yard maintenance that's been put off due to weather. I'm also hoping to get my shell sealed and wired today too, we will see......

Apparently dad did well in his rehab yesterday. He walked 20 ft using the parallel bars. Did some upper body exercises.. had him move between the bed to a chair vise vera a few times.. and had him sit in a wheel chair to pull himself around the track for a few laps using only his feet. so pretty well considering sunday he could only take 2 steps before tiring out.

Shawn, I'm glad to hear that your dad is making progress.

I managed to get the front mowed, 90% weedeated, 20% raked. My hands, shoulders and back are toast. Time to drink the last of the pot of coffee and do some computer work.

Shawn, great to hear your dads making such quick progress! It won't be easy but it sounds like he has the fortitude to put in the reps and make it happen. Just don't let him go overboard and cause a set back, some guys like him will push too hard also. It's a bit of a balancing act. Looking back at the pics of the car it's amazing where he is at today. Maybe a bit of a testimony to his strength and the power of prayer.

I'm glad Sean and Shawn are spelled different to be able to keep track

Shawn, glad to see your pops is doing so much better I will still be keeping him in the thoughts and prayers.

Sean, also glad to see your truck is doing well. I hope to be able to travel the country like that one of these days down the road.

Now Sean (Yahiko) is gonna get in here someplace...Hi Sean, how's the weather up there?

Glad he is doing well Shawn. Getting the laps in should do wonders. One thing we always look forward to is getting out. Even if it's just to do laps.

Is that a homemade mug from the kids or something? Looks nice if it is. My daughter made me an ashtray once and I have never smoked But, I loved it anyway...until it fell apart.

I had to give Preston his own post and couldn't lump him into the Sean's and Shawn one

I hope you can do that. It has been a lot of fun. And there is no way to see it all in one year.

Talked to my mom who lives up there by Sean, she is depressed from all the drought ending rain. It doesn't help that we keep showing her the weather we have been in all winter!

Yep, a lot of us out here!
