greetings from the lost coast! i mentioned to rosie yesterday i need to check-in with you fellas. all is well from our new dwelling here in Trinidad, CA. quiet, dark, and beyond measure peaceful compared to our loft there in oakland. what a place! we've had skunks, raccoons, yellow finches, rufous hummingbirds, and the neighbors dogs and cats welcome us!!

hope this finds you well this holiday weekend guys. be safe, have fun, and cheers america!

Trinidad CA sounds mahvelous! Reminds me that my Dad served in Trinidad (the island) during WWII (and it certainly ain't the same).

Feeling good here in the outer coast range. Our helper arrived this morning, and the young buck was able to weed whack the whole dang day. He pretty much whacked out the rest of our fire break, and we are done for 2016! Yay!

Oaktown does have its attractions. They are having a bit of a renaissance these days.

That's the news. You know how that goes, "If it bleeds, it leads."

But yes, we get up there periodically. One of my buds grew up there, and visits his sister (who still lives there) once or twice a week. He went to Cal, so he has roots there, but he does speak fondly of Oaktown. So you can't necessarily color your vision by the news reports.

If you go over to Alameda (the island), it is a nice place to hang. So just across a couple of bridges from the places with the bad reps.

I'll tell you a place that is bad. Cupertino. Man, those yuppies think their excrement don't stink. The so-called "clients" in the Whole Paycheck there are the worst. That's my opinion, not a news report.
