2002 f550 tranny problems
2002 f550 with 7.3 . Having transmission PROBLEMS, seems the torque converter will not lock up when put into gear , rev the engine to 1200rpms and after about 15 seconds you can feel the tranny wanting to go. not throwing any codes in my scanner, but it's not transmission specific . not sure if has a 4r100 or 5r100 tranny. To me seems like the converter is bad but with so many sensors who knows. Fluid doesn't have burnt smell to it and level is right where its supposed to be, any input would be greatly appreciated

It's a 4R100. The 5R110 didn't start until 2003.
The torque converter should not lock up when the truck is below 40 MPH. If it does, you have a problem.
You need to be able to read transmission codes to diagnose transmission problems.
But from what you're describing you either don't have enough fluid in it, or it's done and needs to be rebuilt or replaced.
