I think it was I10 west of Blythe somewhere we got checked.all I kept thinking was if I had my old 6l that sounded like a jet turbine, and rolled coal if you thought about acceleration I would prob still be there.like a lot of you I don't need any more power but the thought of cleaning up what my engine is being forced to breath is almost enough

We went thru the same checkpoint this past winter. As I recall it was an agriculture check station to see what you were bringing into the state. We were thru it pretty quick. There was a big lineup though when we came back past it.

We also hit some border patrol stations on our winter travels and they were looking for drugs and aliens.

What part of CA do you go to?

Was our first time too, had a great time, some parks & some boondocking. Spent 3 months down south. Due to weather we went to New Orleans first, then across thru TX (Galveston, BigBend) up to Carlsbad, then Quartzsite, El Centro, Salton Sea & Desert Hot Springs (5weeks @ Sams) then worked our way back home thru Flagstaff route. Looks like you covered some of the same ground

I'll probably delete this summer but I'll run the stock muffler and rest of exhaust.

Can I just do the EGR & DPF delete? I saw a CCV kit on AMDP.
I'm pretty sure you can do block offs and a delete no prob. Once I add the muffler, if it's still too loud might try adding stock pipe to it also.

Uh, sorry about that

Does the BullyDog take any tunes? I have the H&S MiniMaxx which is a BD unit but they aren't updating tunes as far as I know.

Yes, they have a version that supports tunes. Very popular with the Cummins crowd.
