It is amazing how many people only chase money and can never figure out why they are not happy.

When my son changed jobs 6 months ago. He went for the money. When he wax promoted to VP at his old company money was not quite what he expected. His new company offered 8 k more with same bennies. To keep all the older employees happy , his title is Senior Project Manager but is doing the same thing.

Job satisfaction is a plus and it makes someone more productive when they are happy. Job test was moved from this morning to 2 PM. I will finish moving the carport after the test. The rain stopped finishing it up yesterday afternoon.

Maybe they want throw off the wall stuff at you. Long time ago I knew someone that did it for the post office. Part of it was putting on brake back together all the parts were in a pile on the floor.

I'm back !!
There was a pile of parts, nuts and bolts and you had to put it together according to the diagram they provided. Not too hard and I smoked it!! I have an interview on Friday for a position at Yancey Bros !!! What a relief!!!

I'll be off the net tomorrow as I have appointments all day and a sleep test tomorrow night.

I love my jobs though. Money comes with it. Only thing I could love more is owning a business. Which will come with time.

Alot of factors are the higher ups. I love my job, but the higher ups think they know everything and never turned a wrench which dampens the day. But it only happens twice or so

Went to the welding job today. he wasnt prepared for me to start yesterday. Oh well.

I bagged $200 in an hour off commission. Should bag another tomorrow. If I clear 4-700 I will totally loose my giving a **** at the other job, which is fine. haha.

Update: Boss did not talk to me today, but grapevine through the shop is Im loaded down, he has started to see how hungry I am. BUT, he is also blaming me for a vehicle that had power steering fluid in the brake fluid, BUT the said vehicle was at the dealership for the brake and power steering bleed........I never got to touch those systems. This is the main reason for my quitting talks yesturday..... Dealership has to replace $2000 worth of parts.

So 3 things might happen:
Insurance covers the cost as it (could pertain to accident)

Insurance doesn't cover it, bosses try to charge me and I leave

Insurance finds insurance fraud (customers wanted the vehicle to total, tried very hard the first go round it was here, left and came back 2 weeks later with locked up brake system) and Owners of vehicle are at fault. Seeing I didnt do it, either dealership ****ed up or owners did.

My little talks of quitting should also be a sign that
"hey, I am not going to be responsible for someone else's mistake" and maybe he will see clear.

Either or, my foot is already out the door. im waiting for the push because I am still hopeful about this shops future......MAYBE, if it doesnt go out of business first

Got the shots in my knees for the arthritis pain, dental appt, went to finance office, got some other little stuff knocked out around post too. I bought a new shirt with a collar for my interview on Friday. Sleep study was cancelled because the tech was sick so we rescheduled.

My little man is 6 months old today!! He is getting pretty good at sitting up without any assistance, well for a few minutes at a time. Wife told me he also said dada today but I was at Ft Benning. go figure

He said it again this morning!!! Still have to have a job but better than being on the other side of the world. Funny thing is we teach them to talk and walk and then the rest of their life we tell them to sit down and be quiet!!

Interview is tomorrow morning at 10!! I am super confident that I will get a position with them.

Finally got the carport moved and the boat under it but the best part is it's not on the parking pad and not in the direct sun anymore!! There was enough room left under the carport so that I could put the lightning under it too!! Got some dead branches cut down and in the burn pile. I trimmed the bushes around the house. Washed and detailed the Jag as it was looking a little rough.I really need to detail the lightning too but that's another day. Going for a swim then I am ironing my clothes for the interview tomorrow morning.
