How does someone who owned a cat for 14 years just give it up? Strange, very strange. Surprised the cat hasn't had any chickens for dinner, or lunch. LOL Good luck with that endeavor. Won't have to buy eggs ever again.
Jim
Strange, yes. But if the cat was an outdoor cat for these 14 years, picking him up and taking him to Florida might not be best for him. For me, I get a mouser.

No. That place had too many issues. I bought a place on 2 acres on Casa Loma Rd, just south of Calero Reservoir. Super easy commute, getting on 101 at Bailey.
Well, the property management company contacted their pest control people and they gave me a call and now I have a guy (gal?) coming out Wednesday between 11am and 1pm to inspect the place for bed bugs.
Sorry your going through this Jim , apartment management should have contacted weeks ago, maybe they will spring for a new recliner too, other wise habitat for humanity I was just in the Modesto store , recliners , tables of all sorts metal/ wood, couches too,
Congrats Andy on the new Rancho, get rid of all the Rosters but 1 , and maybe you will be able to sleep in on the weekends

Wow Andy. Looks like a really nice place. Congratulations.
The prices down there always give me sticker shock though! That would buy so much up here. You'd have to get either 3000 sq feet of house or a bunch of acreage. Maybe both...

Thanks! Yeah, but I couldn't make a ridiculous amount of money for working 8 hours in an air conditioned office up there. Silicon Valley is made of funny money. People say "you're crazy to pay that much for a house," but the reality is you make a TON more on the houses here over the long term.
Would love to have 3000 SQ FT and a much larger lot with flatter land, but this is the cheapest place I could find that is reasonably close to work.

Hey Stewart, thanks! Yes at least initially I'll rent it out. It'd make a great game room with some pinball machines!

Haha, funny money. Yep I understand that. Gotta work where the jobs are.
