C6ME-. block
I tried posting this over in the engine forum without much luck:
C6ME-...... nothing after the dash. So does that mean it's a C6ME or was the A left off on the end?Â*
For what it's worth, it also has C4AE 6090 G heads and an S code intake.Â* I've found plenty about both of those so no worries there.
I know the C6ME and C6ME-A were both common castings but I haven't found anything about "C6ME-".
It is a 3.5" stroke.

Mr. Tom, What are you shooting for? You have a 50 year old 60s FE 352 likely rebuilt with a car intake I believe.
For the most part those numbers don't mean a lot. But again what are you wanting to find out zackly?

I have 2 '66 352 blocks, one is C6ME, the other is C6ME-A.

These are
not part numbers, they are 1966 casting numbers (foundry marks) for the FE engine that when finished, could be a 352 or 390.
Casting numbers cannot be cross referenced to part numbers.

Hey ID, I had another look. It seems my C6ME block has about half a dash or hyphen after the "E", looks a lot like a dot.
But, the bottom line is I don't know the significance of the dash or the "dot".

6t6 is right on. That dash is what I'm wondering about since there is nothing following the dash.

I have the heads off to check cylinder wall condition and do new head gaskets and the definitive answer on the engine is that it's a .040 over 352.
